What we'll cover.

    The proposition

    The infrastructure behind the infrastructure.

Racks and cabling are the visible part. Power and cooling are what actually keep them alive.
It is where a hall is made resilient or fragile.

    Power that holds

Diverse feeds, UPS, generators and A+B distribution sized for the load and the resilience you need.

    Cooling that scales

Containment and cooling matched to density, with headroom for high-density and AI hardware.

    Proven, not assumed

Load-tested, commissioned and documented before it carries a single watt of live kit.

    M&E engineering    by domain

    Our M&E services.

    Element    what we deliver
    01

    Power distribution

    • Utility to rack. Diverse feeds, UPS, generators, busbar and PDUs. The electrical spine of the hall.
    • A+B resilience. Redundant paths sized for the load and the resilience tier you need.
    02

    Cooling

    • Strategy and plant. Airflow, containment and cooling matched to the density, with a path to liquid for high density.
    • Efficiency. Designed to run warmer, denser and more efficiently. A lower PUE without risking inlet temps.
    03

    Electrical install

    • To standard. Containment, cabling, protection and metering installed and tested to standard.
    • Coordinated. Tied in with the landlord or main contractor for supplies and metering.
    04

    Test and commission

    • Proven. Load-tested, commissioned and documented. The plant proven before it carries live kit.
    • Witnessed. Load banks, failover drills and alarms proven end to end, recorded and handed over.
One works package Mechanical and electrical are designed, installed, tested and documented by the same team, to one programme.

    What does your load need?

Drag the design load. The indicative shape of the plant behind it.

Illustrative planning figures only. Real electrical design starts from your loads, your resilience target and your site constraints.

Every engagement is scoped properly before we commit numbers.

    Cooling

    Cooling, matched to the density.

Free-cooling coil Chiller Cooling tower Pumps Condenser Aspirating smoke detection Gaseous suppression CRAC CRAH Hot aisle containment High density
    Resilience

    How much redundancy is enough?

Click any block to fail it.

The right answer is the one your risk actually justifies. We will tell you when 2N is buying you comfort, not resilience.

    The disciplines

Every trade an M&E package needs.

    Mechanical

The cooling, the water and the fire systems
    • HVACCRAC and CRAH units, precision cooling, hot and cold aisle containment, chilled water systems.
    • Pipework and plumbingChilled water loops, condenser water circuits, leak detection systems.
    • Fire suppressionFM200, Novec 1230, VESDA early smoke detection, gaseous suppression systems.
    • HydraulicsWater storage, pumping systems, cooling tower circuits.
    • Leak detectionDetection cable and sensors along the pipe routes and under the plant, alarmed and proven at commissioning.

    Electrical

From the incoming supply to the last socket
    • HV11kV and 33kV substation design, HV switchgear installation and commissioning.
    • LVMV and LV switchgear, busbar trunking, PDU installation, distribution boards.
    • GeneratorsStandby diesel genset installation, fuel systems, load testing, commissioning.
    • UPSUPS system installation, battery room design and commissioning.
    • Power qualityHarmonic mitigation, earthing and bonding, surge protection.
    • LightingGeneral, emergency and containment area lighting design and installation.

      Why Optronix

      Designed and installed as one.

M&E is designed alongside the whitespace, so power, cooling and layout fit together from the start. One team, one model, one accountable result.

      Drawn with the whitespace

Power, cooling and layout worked up in one model, so the plant fits the hall it is going into.

      Every trade in one package

Every discipline under one works package, programmed against each other and against the fit-out.

      Proven, then handed over

Single-lines, schedules, test certificates and O&Ms handed over as the record of the hall.

      Next step

      Tell us the load.
      We'll scope the plant.

A load schedule, a resilience target and the site constraints are enough to start. We will come back with the single-line approach, the plant selection and an outline programme.
